Classicum canit, Cantabs! The CamSoc trumpet sounds the call to attack!
Despite their inferiority which comes from having studied at an unmentionable place of what they call education, for several years now our friends from that other place have managed to defeat us at the nonetheless civilised sport that is croquet. This is intolerable, and has subjected the trophy for too long to a state of infra dignitatem.
How is this lamentable situation to be improved? There will have to be some vi victa vis before the vae victis, and in this as in many things, our strength is in numbers. Therefore we call all Cantabs to the mallet, to join us on the field of Genval and restore the natural order of things, on Sunday 18 June, at 10:45 am. Genval is easily reachable by train from the centre of Brussels, and various gallant warriors are able and willing to provide those in need with transportation. Just let us know if you need a lift.
