The Cambridge Society is pleased to announce having acquired top seats to this year’s gala concert of the Belgian King’s personal orchestra and the elite band of the Belgian armed forces, the Royal Symphonic Band of the Guides.
This gala is to take place on Friday, 1st December at 8pm at the Palais des Beaux Arts of Brussels. Black tie preferred.
Programme:
- Overture from Rossini’s William Tell
- Dvorák’s Cello concerto in B minor (op. 104) featuring the third finalist of this year’s Queen Elisabeth Competition
- The Sorcerer’s Apprentice from Disney’s Fantasia
- Dance of the Hours from Ponchielli’s La Gioconda
- Pieces from Tchaïkowski’s Nutcracker
- March of the 1st Regiment of the Guides
The Society offers members and their guests group discounted tickets for top category seats at €35 per person with the option to join the VIP reception after the concert for an additional €20.
