Saturday March 26th, The Boat Race

The 157th Boat Race between Oxford and Cambridge takes place on Saturday 26th March 2011.  The Oxford University Society of Belgium and the Cambridge Society of Belgium invite you to join them to watch the race on a large screen television and then celebrate or commiserate afterwards with a buffet supper.

Join us on the 26th March from 5.00 p.m. onwards

at the club house of the Royal Sport Nautique de Bruxelles, 170 Chaussée de Vilvorde, 1120 Brussels

for a drink from the cash bar while Robert Stanbury (Cantab. and former Blue Boat cox) introduces the race, which sets off at 6.00. p.m.  Afterwards you have the option of helping yourself from a splendid cold buffet while renewing old friendships and establishing new ones.

Attendance at the screening is free; participation in the buffet is €25 per head, including wine.  Children under six €5, under twelve €10.

Please reply by Friday 18th March to Carol de Lusignan at belgium@ousoc.oxon.org indicating if you wish to stay for the buffet supper. Please make your payment for the buffet to the Oxford Society bank account 431-0685851-31 with the mention “Boat Race Buffet– x people”.
