Mary-Phil Korsak, “Glad News from Mark” Wed. 20th May from 19hrs
The President and Committee of the Oxford University Society of Belgium would like to invite you to the next speaker meeting of the Society, which will be given by Mary-Phil Korsak, whom many of you will have met at our events. She will be talking about her most recent book, "Glad News from Mark", a completely new translation of the Greek text of the Gospel of St Mark, which was published last year. She will also be displaying the delightful and original artwork for the illustrations of the book which were created by the Russian painter and graphic artist Irina Zatulovskaya. The talk will take place on Wednesday 20th May from 19.00 at
Holy Trinity, 29 Avenue Capitaine Crespel, 1050 Brussels (near Louise metro), and will follow the usual pattern of reception with drinks and nibbles
from 7pm, talk and discussion from 7.30pm followed by dinner at a local restaurant for anyone who would like to join us.
Attendance at the talk is free for subscribed members of our Society and one guest, €5 per head for others.
